I’m Alyssa! Founder, owner, blogger, content creator, and the creative virtual assistant behind The Virtual Creative.

I have been in the blogging world — and creating personal blog content for over six years. I guess you could say, I loved blogging as an outlet to let out my creative side. And while, throughout those six years, many things have changed, the one thing that has remained constant is my passion for this craft.

Two years ago my husband and I had the opportunity to relocate to Dublin, Ireland for his job. We have since moved back to the ‘Burgh, but the move was life changing for me. At the time, not knowing what I was going to be doing for my job was scary…until a couple months before we moved I was connected with two small businesses in the wedding industry from my hometown Pittsburgh, PA who needed some help with content creation and social media assistance.

As time went on, I realized how much I really enjoyed the “work” — so much that completing projects and tasks didn’t even feel like job, but rather something I looked forward to and enjoyed. Not only that, but the impact I was having on my clients and their businesses was one of the best feelings!

I quickly realized that there are so many other small business brands out there that could benefit from these types of services. And with the help of many amazing mentors, The Virtual Creative was born!

Combining my love of blogging, my marketing background, my administration savvy skills, and my love for helping others, I can honestly say being a Virtual Assistant is my dream job. One that I never expected happening, but I’m so glad that it did.

Since starting this small business of my own, I have since stopped creating for my personal blog to fully dedicate my time to helping other small businesses. So many small business brands have so much talent to showcase, but not enough time to show it off.

I want to be that person to save you that time and help show off what you have to offer. And I can promise I’ll do it with just as much passion, compassion, and dedication as you have for your brand!
